Laura asks…
What chances do I have of winning a sweepstakes?
I entered 3 type of sweepstakes,
ipod touch=entered 2 times
kindle= entered 4 times
camcorder=5 times
What are the chances of actually winning? Please, and I’ll give 10 points to the one that gives most help:)

Stan answers:
It takes one ticket to win, or one entry to win, you will either be lucky or not.

Donald asks…
Do you approve of a nine year old getting a kindle?
My sister may get one, and I do not think it is fair.
She is 4th grade! What do you guys think? Thanks.

Stan answers:
If your sister is responsible, reads a lot of books, and wants them all in one convenient place, then yes. To make a kindle a worthwhile investment it should be used often and taken good care of.

Sharon asks…
Kindle owners: In what ways do you abuse your Kindle?
I have a few (evil) fun ways of abusing your Kindle here.
1. Read a chapter then make Kindle read four chapters…then another four…in fact Kindle can read the whole book.
2. Find a book with loads of funny words just for the thrill of hearing the Kindle read them
3. Make the Kindle read extra fast as it sounds funny
4. Master Kindle‘s ever move at 4 in a row so you can beat it and then punish the Kindle for losing with yet another book reading
Anyone else got great ways to abuse the kindle? (I think putting Justin Beiber on as a song is going to far, that is far too abusive)

Stan answers:
Well seeing as I own one it abuses me.

Paul asks…
Should i buy a Kindle?
IM not that much of an avid reader since i havent had much time. Either way i am torn between the kindle 3 or the IPhone 4. Currently i have the iphone 3g so maybe not the Iphone 4.
Either way is it worth it to buy the kindle 3?

Stan answers:
@ Cherry Bomb, though I’m a book lover, I get to disagree with you. The new Kindle can last for one month on a single charge, while many mobile phone (like iPhone) can last no more than one day. Is it really likely to get the Kindle out of battery?
And even though I love actual books, I’ve to accept the fact that ebook will become more and more popular because it is so much convenient, eco-friendly, and we can get dictionary, annotations, highlights, read aloud to us, all with a device without bringing another dictionary or pen or audio book. We can put thousands of favorite books in one, instead of bringing tiles of heavy books. It’s a trend, we need to accept and live with it, otherwise even ourselves with get sunk in the wave and get lost in the society.
I miss the past time when I write and send letter with paper, but now I accept and enjoy the convenience brought to me by email. I miss the days I listen to music from cassette, but now I accept to listen music in MP3. Does cassette company closed down? Yes if they do not do other things in demand to catch up the trend. So newspapers, magazines, even though people read things from internet, many news still come from newspapers’ website and if they are smart enough and do well, they can earn even more money from web advertisement on their website (you know this is the major income source of facebook). That’s the future trend, don’t pull people stay with you, everyone get to move
Here is another book die-hard lover, you can see how she says about the Kindle:

Ok, enough for these. So I love my Kindle very much. If you’re thinking about getting the Kindle, I’ll say get it instead of other ebook readers and you won’t regret. Right now I’ve read over 50 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, it is really clear like reading books; and even I read with the device for long hours, I don’t feel tired. The internet browsing comes handy as well when I want to look for information on some specific area. My only complaint is the white case, the Kindle is only sold in white at the time when I got it, but now the new Kindle has graphite case which looks much better
And there are some websites, where you can find more than a million of free books for the Kindle, so that’s why you no longer need to get to library, you can actually own these books:

If you need to read PDF with charts and graphics, you may want to go for the larger Kindle DX (both the new Kindle and the new Kindle DX are now at a cheaper price and with better contrast). Read this review and you should be able to decide which one to get:

Hope this helps.

Susan asks…
What does everyone think of Vampire Academy?
I seem to enjoy the books so far from the kindle I have 4 out the 6 series right now but love the books completely. What were some of your favorite parts? Mine is when Rose gets out of the Academy to go Rescue Dimitri from being captured from the battle the night before.

Stan answers:
I love the series, personally.
Richelle Mead described everything so precisely, and thats what makes it amazing.
Plus, who couldn’t love Dimitri?
